Addtivity Command is the flagship software of Addtivity Data — one suite for the work that piles up around a life and a business. Addtivity Finance is the application in your hands today: a Windows desktop program that takes receipts, statements, income records and card activity, works out which documents describe the same payment, and counts that payment once.

What it actually does
Scan a receipt, import a statement as CSV, Excel, HTML or PDF, or link a bank read-only. Addtivity Finance recognises when a scanned receipt, a line on a monthly statement and a bank row are all the same purchase, and counts it once — keeping the receipt's line items and the bank's authority on the amount.
On top of that sit budgets, goals, bills, debt payoff, net worth over time, alerts and nine scenario calculators. Business and personal books stay separate even when one card bought for both.

Six applications, one account.
Each one owns a different pile of everyday admin. They share a component library, a colour system and a single sign-in, and each keeps its own data in its own schema — so adding the seventh does not mean standing up a seventh service. Five are in active development; the label on each says where it is.

Your records never reach us.
This is architecture, not a promise. Addtivity Finance keeps your receipts, statements, transactions and balances in a database file on your own computer. There is no copy on a server, which means there is nothing of yours for us to lose, sell or be compelled to hand over.

Local by default
Your financial records live on your machine. We hold an email address, an account identifier and which devices you have signed in from — and nothing else.

Banks are read-only
Linking a bank is opt-in and one-way. We request a single data product and no payment permissions, so there is no code path in the application that can move money.

Nothing is sold
No advertising, no data brokers, no profile built about you. Your financial data is never used to train a model — categorisation runs on your own machine.

Deletion is real
Erase everything from inside the app. It removes the records, the stored images and any bank link — revoking that link at the provider rather than only forgetting it.

Small on purpose.
Addtivity Data, LLC is a software company. It is small — one person writes the code, answers the support mail and signs the releases. That shows up as a product with fewer features and a shorter chain between a bug report and a fix.
How it gets built
Every migration is rehearsed against a real database engine before it is applied. The desktop app carries 696 automated tests. Screenshots used for review are rendered from an invented dataset so that no real record is ever in a picture — including the ones on this page.
Where something is not built, this site says so rather than implying otherwise. That rule is the reason five of the six applications above carry an In development label instead of a launch date.
